The appeal came up for hearing before the Commission, PIO, JKSBOTE submitted that the information sought by the appellant with respect to two courses referred in his RTI application viz. Mechanical Motor Vehicle and Diesel Mechanic are different trades as per the curriculum of National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT). Further, the PIO submitted that the appellant vide communication dated 10.12.2018 was informed that the eligibility of different posts was in accordance with the recruitment rules for each post.
While deciding the appeal SIC observed, "Keeping in view the observations made herein above, the Commission cannot direct the PIO to reply to the quarries raised by the appellant in his RTI application asking the PIO to interpret and deduce conclusion by comparing the two trades and supply the conclusion to him.
