Mehbooba Ji! - Control yourself at least
For God sake
R.B. Suri4/6/2019 10:11:09 PM
For God Sake Meh-
booba Ji, control
yourself at least. You and your counter part Dr. Farooq Abdullah are crying over the spilt milk. You are well aware of the fact the issue of the Article 370 and Article 35A is sub judice before the Supreme Court of India for disposal. You also remained as head of the Coalition Government with BJP as also the successive State Governments of the National Conference (NC)and Indian National Congress(INC) in the past are very much responsible for the present state of affairs in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. It was during your tenure as the Chief Minister of the state, the state has reached to the prevailing volcanic stage. When you very much know that the issue involved is before the law of the land, you should not make so much hue and cry over the matter ? Let the Apex Court of the country decides the issue involved on the merits of the case. By making the volgour statements everyday over the issue involved means that you are making the contempt of the court which needs to be stopped immediately. You are using the issue involved for your vested political interests in the state. The people of the valley are being exploited by you for revolting against India and indirectly asking them to side with the Separatists and the Hurriayat Amalgamation. By creating a mess in the state, now you are switching over to the Indian Parliament by contesting the Anantnag Lok Sabha constituency in the valley which you had already represented earlier also. Similar is the case with Dr. Farooq Abdullah, who too decided to go in the Indian Parliament making the way for his son for playing the politics in the state only. You are exploiting the people of the state and motivating them to lend their support to your party at any cost after having appeased the antinational elements in the state during your tenure as the Chief Minister. You can't skip from the responsibility on this score. At the same time, BJP can't skip from its responsibility from the present ugly situation in the state as it remained a coalition partner with you in governing the state from March 2015 to June 20 last year. All the above have sailed in the same boat in destroying the peaceful atmosphere in the state. From your actions as the Chief Minister of the state of Jammu and Kashmir, the state has landed to the present volcanic stage. It is pertinent to mention here that you had intended to appease the militants who intended to surrender. An illustration on this score is that on March 20 last year, you had moved a proposal of Rehabilitation Policy of Militants in the State Cabinet meeting chaired by you, for seeking the nod of the cabinet. This did not get through because of the opposition from BJP Ministers and was deferred. From the contents of the instant proposal it appeared that the Coalition Government intended to play the role of a Finance Corporate which is deplorable indeed. It was noticed that the Coalition Government of PDP and BJP was moving in an entirely a different style of functioning in pleading the cause of the militants at the very cost of the nation. Thank God! the proposal of granting the various incentives to the militants who intended for surrendering before the Army/ Police along with their weapons and ammunition materials, under the proposed Rehabilitation Policy of Militantsdid not get through. Major differences were cropped up between the Coalition partners when the issue, in question, came into discussions in the State Cabinet meeting held at Jammu on March 20 last year under your chairmanship as the Chief Minister. It was learnt that the BJP Ministers had opposed it strongly and had registered their protest with one voice. It is really deplorable as it would have gone detrimental to the interests of the nation, if given the nod. It was quite evident that the actions and the deeds of your government were not fair and were going detrimental to the interests of the nation as a whole. Not only this, You as the Chief Minister of this sensitive state had never spoken the Indian language but only pressurized the Central Government led by the NDA under the Prime Minister ship of Narender Modi just to appease the Separatists and the Hurriayat Amagamation always. It was very strange that she did not use any aggressive language against Pakistan just to please her supporters in the valley who have their outright sympathies for Pakistan. The proposal (which was deferred in the Cabinet meeting convened by you on March 20 last year) was containing the proposed sky hikes in granting the various incentives to the militant surrendering before the Army or Police. The granting of the various incentives to the militants surrendering before the Army/ Police along with their weapons and ammunition materials was the direct indication that the your government was having the pro-militant approach as it always wanted to see the interests and welfare of the militants at the cost of the lives of the innocents and Army soldiers and Officers as also compromising with the hardships of the brave people living on the International Border and Line of Controland whereas the granting of financial aids to the victims of the cease fire violations made Pakistan was pinching your government. Actually this was the second attempt made by the PDP in getting the approval to the proposal from the State Cabinet in favour of the surrendering militants. This was ridiculous. The proposed increase in the incentives to the militants in the said proposal was to the order ranging from 300 Percent to 3400 Percent. Earlier also in 2004, during the time of former Chief Minister Late Mufti Mohanmmed Sayeed various incentives were given to the surrendering militants from the state exchequer at the cost of poor people who were dying of hunger but all in vain. Pertinent to mention here that the Mehbooba's Government was having lot of sympathies for the people who chose to adopt the path of militancy and have caused massive damage to the state and the nation as well since 1989. Kashmir which was 'Janat' earlier and since 1989 it has become a 'Hell' as thousands of innocents have lost their lives for the so called freedom movement launched by the various militant outfits and the Hurriayat. They and the successive governments of the state are responsible for the present state of affairs in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The State Government was totally indifferent to the Army which is aiding , defending and providing the security cover to all the sections of the society in the valley. Not only this, while doing these activities they loose their precious lives in protecting the lives of the common people from the subversive activities of the militant out fits in the valley. It was not the Government job to finance the surrendering militants liberally but there was a need for controlling the situation with firm hands without giving them the latitude at the cost of the nation. During the last RAMZAN the Coalition Government of PDP and BJP led by you as the Chief Minister took the bad decision for allowing the one sided cease fire thereby lessening the impact of the"All out operation" launched effectively by the Indian forces in the valley. It was your calculated move indeed. Simultaneously, the granting of the 'AMNESTY' to the stone pelters as also withdrawing of all the cases pending against them in the various court forums was the grave mistake which was done at the behest of the Union Government led by the Prime Minister of India Narender Modi. As a result of the same, the terrorists in the state including the terrorists from Pakistan had consolidated their positions and the various hide outs in the valley to the large extent possible. This was certainly a calculated made by as the Chief Minister of the state. This had downed the morale of the Indian forces in the valley. Right from the beginning after the nation attained the freedom from the Britishers more than seven decades back, the Kashmir centric leaders were having the all out sympathies for Pakistan and they went on promoting the anti national elements in the valley against the Indian set up. They caused the massive damage to the Integrity and the Sovereignty of the nation and acted as the stooges of the enemy in spreading the hat redness against the countrymen. During the intervening period, the terrorists and the pro PAK Hurriayat Amalgamation consolidated much and remained hectily busy in devising the new strategies for causing the mass killings of our Jawans for their petty interests in the name of so called AZADI. It is pertinent to mention here that the present Army Chief Bipin Rawat resisted very much at that time but the Central Government led by Narender Modi did not pay any heed to his sayings and pleadings which were very important and relevant as it was the question of the national security. Due to the wrong decisions taken by the State and the Central Governments on this score are yielding the reaps resulting which now the Country's Integrity is in danger. Latest incidence on this score is that the nation has experienced the barbaric militants attack - car bombing with more than 100 Kgs of the explosives on the National Highway at Lethpora in Pulwama District in the Kashmir valley on February 14 causing the mass killings of 49 CRPF personnel who were on their way for resuming their duties after availing of the leaves at their respective homes. This attack has jolted the entire nation and there countrywide massive protests and the demonstrations. The Government administration had the tough time for controlling the law and order in the country all over. The Kashmir centric leaders time and again are pleading for the resolution of Kashmir problem politically but I am of the firm view that it cannot be tackled politically. It can be solved militarily only. The countrymen have the full faith over the Indian forces who can take the things to the logical conclusion once for all. The Central Government made the inordinate delay in giving the free hand to the Indian forces in dealing with the things independently. It is also on record that the Governor of J&K Satya Pal Malik stated that that his government is working on the rehabilitation of the militants knowingly that the rehabilitation policy launched by the then Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed after coming to power in the state based upon the Agenda of Alliance, failed badly and this appeasement policy of the state towards the militants created the present bad situation in the valley. The state of Jammu and Kashmir is passing through a crucial stage after 1987 and the Kashmir region is presently in turmoil due to the eruption of militancy particularly after 1989 and the pro Pak elements, Terrorists, Separatists and the Hurriayat Amalgamation are enjoying the patronage of the two regional political parties of the state - National Conference and PDP. The civil administration had given them all the free field to operate upon in the valley fearlessly without any restrictions in giving the tough resistance to the security forces of the country. Needless to mention that according to the various political experts, the present conflict in Kashmir Valley is very grave in nature. The root of conflict between the Kashmiri insurgents and the Indian government is tied to a dispute over local autonomy[8] and based on the demand for the self-determination. After the exit of the State Government led by the pro militant political party PDP led by the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti up to June last year, the people of the state had a sigh of relief from the Governor's Rule. The Coalition Government of BJP and PDP was playing with the lives of the innocent people of the state. The Governor's administration took the wise decision for withdrawing the security cover and the vehicles from the five Separatists leaders and the leaders of the Huriayat Amalgamation on selective basisfirst and subsequently it further withdrew the same from the other 18 leaders including SAS Geelani, Yasin Malik, Shah Faisal IAS topper who had resigned from the government service a few months back, Parra, Naeem Khan, Abid Ansari and many others. Apart from this, security cover and the vehicles from 155 other Kashmir Centric leaders also stand withdrawn. In all more than 100 vehicles besides more than 1000 security men stand withdrawn. The need of the hour is that all the facilities being enjoyed by these politicians should be withdrawn immediately. Over the years , enjoying these facilities they are spiting the venom against the country which should not be tolerated further. All the Rulers of the state in the past particularly Mehbooba Mufti contributed a lot for bringing the state to this volcanic stage which is highly condemnable. The country will not forgive them. With drawing the security cover and vehicles from the pro Pak elements in the state was desired much long back. Though the decisions of the Governor's administration on this score are belated ones but would certainly yield the results positively in the interests of the Country's Integrity and the Sovereignty. The Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has given the clean chit to Satya Pal Malik and rather praised him for taking the required measures in running his administration successfully. Various political experts of the country are of the firm opinion that Article 370 of the Indian Constitution will go as it is and it will not be touch but at the same time Article 35 A would go definitely as it will not stand at law because it was never debated in the Indian Parliament as on date. With out any debate, it was annexed with the Indian Constitution in 1954. Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti, Omar Abdullah and other leaders of the Separatuists and the Hurriayat Amalgamation must be passing their sleep ness nights as their personalities are under cloud these days. Let's watch and see what will happen on this score.
