| BKS organises awareness on drugs abuse | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 9: To spread an awareness among people on drug de-addition and drugs abuse evil, Bhartiya Kala Sangam organized two days programme at Chatha, Jammu wherein local residents participated. On the occasion T R Sharma, retd KAS officer and chairman BKS delivered lecture and awared the people to remain alert about drugs abuse. Welcoming the residents Romesh Singh Chib, Director BKS said that its a mission of BKS organisation to eradicate the menace of drugs abuse from society by way of awareness campaigns being conducted at different locations. Sarpanch of area also kept views on the subject and appealed the youth that they should keep distance from drugs and should devote time and energy on education. Vasino Rani social worker and president BKS said that youth is a backbone of nation and they should divert their energy towards nation develoment.
. She further advised them to stay away from drugs and consumption of liquor from bad society. The said awareness programme was attended by punchs, sarpachs of the area and youth in large numbers. However, a joint pledge was also taken with youth for not to indulge in such bad evils. |
