Mendhar, Apr 19: Mendhar T20 Cricket tournament is being organised at OP Hill Stadium, Mendhar by the Army in run up to the Mendhar Shaheedi Diwas which is celebrated every year in April.
The tournament is aimed at reaching out to the youth of Mendhar and to commemorate the martyrdom of the brave citizens of Mendhar Tehsil, who laid down their lives supporting the Army during the 1965 Indo-Pak War.
The tournament got underway in the presence of Army officials, civil dignitaries, school children and a large number of local youths.
The event has received an overwhelming response from the youth of Mendhar and adjoining areas,
