Abhinav Sharma elected 2nd time as President JKHBAJ

Jammu, April-28-:- Advocate Abhinav Sharma one the senior Advocate of J&K High Court elected second time as President Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association, Jammu.
The election for the posts of office bearers of the Bar Association was held, the result was declared second day late in the night due to time consumed in counting of votes. Total Votes polled 1981 out of 2323.
According to Sr. Adv B S Salathia, former President of the Bar Association, who acted as Returning Officer, Advocate Abhinav Sharrma secured 999 votes to win the presidential chair. The other contenders for the post namely Adv Vikram Sharma, secured 751 votes, Adv AK Sawheny secured 226 votes and Advocate Shakti Gupta secured 5 votes respectively.
Advocate Abhinav Sharma has become President of J&K High Court Bar Association jammu for second time. Earlier in 2010 he remained as General Secretary of Bar Association jammu.
According to Adv Abhinav Sharma, former President of the Bar Association, who acted as Returning Officer, Adv Rohit Bhagat secured 802 votes to win the Vice President. The other contenders for the post namely, Adv Monish Chopra secured 701 and Advocate RS Duswal secured votes 480, respectively.
Advocate Abhisekh wazir was elected as general secretary by securing 1556 votes. His rivals Anil Khajuria secured 425 votes respectively.
Advocate Pardeep Majotra emerged as winner for the post of joint secretary by securing votes 935 whereas Adv Snigdha Shekhar 436, Varun Kotwal secured324 votes and Bhavishya Suddan secured 285 votes.
Advocate Shushant Samnotra has been elected as cashier of the Bar Association. He secured 909 votes against his rivals namely Nikash Sharma and Sahil Bavoria who secured 690 & 300 votes resepectvely.
