KC Sports Club, Patel Club register win in 2nd Police Public Cricket Premier League

JAMMU, June 1: KC Sports Club and Patel Cricket Club registered win against their opponents in the ongoing 2nd Police Public Cricket Premier League and entered in the next stage which is being organized by Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu in collaboration with KC Sports Club and Vishal Cricket Club Jammu at KC Sports Club Jammu.
The league is being organized under the Chairmanship of MK Sinha IGP Jammu and the executive/organizing committee members of the league includes Sujit Kumar DIG Jammu, Tejinder Singh SSP Jammu, Rajesh Sharma SO to IGP Jammu, Arjun Choudhary MD KC Sports Club, Ranjeet Kalra, Hilal Rather, Prashant Mahajan CPO, Farooq Ahmad SP Headquarters Jammu, Suram Singh SP Rural, Hamid Choudhary Dy.SP DAR Jammu, Rajesh Dhar Member JKCA, Sudhir Singh, Sanjeev Mahajan, Sham Singh Langey, Saleem-Ur-Rehman, Vijay Saberwal, Sanjeev Sharma, Karan Singh, Madan Kumar and Rajesh Gill Chief Prosecuting officer/Former Ranji Player and Organizing secretary of the event.
In todays' matches Suram Singh SP Rural Jammu was the Chief Guest who was introduced with the participating teams. While speaking he wished the players for their best performances in the tournament.
Earlier in the first match KC Sports Club defeated KC Royals by wickets. Batting first KC Royals scored 159 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs with Udhay Partap 45 runs, Dikhant Kundal 36 runs and Aqib Rather 33 runs. From the bowling side Madhav took 2 wickets, Sanam and Agastaya took 1 wicket each.
In reply KC Sports Club chased the target in last ball of the game by losing 9 wickets in 20 over thus won the match by 1 wicket. Sanam 65 runs, Anmol 42, and Aman 16 runs were the main scorers.
From the bowling side Ravi Singh and Sukmaan took 2 wickets, Vanshraj and Aqib 1 wicket each . Sanam was declared man of the match he was awarded with Rs.2000 and a gift hamper from Ramada and Vivo.
In the second match AKN Strikers defeated Patel Club by 3 runs. Batting first AKN Strikers scored 138 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs with Sumit Kumar 42 runs, Dhruv Singh 27 runs and Arnav 12 runs. From the bowling side kartik and Sanoop took 3 wickets each, while Sachin took 1 wicket.
In reply Patel Cricket Club could not chased the target and managed to score 135 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs thus lost the match by 3 runs. Sanoop 40, Arya 27 and Sachin 26 were the main scorers. From the bowling side Dhruv took 4 wickets, Rahil and Ishant took 1 wicket each.
Dhruv Singh was declared man of the match he was awarded with Rs.2000 and a gift hamper from Ramada and Vivo.
The matches were officiated by Saleem Ur Rehman, Sadiq Hussain, Amit Gupta, Sham Singh langey, Dyal, Gurvinder Singh and Vinod.
