To keep culture, religious traditions alive; Exiled KPs construct replicas of their shrines outside Valley

Bangluru, June 1: Keeping their cultural and religious traditions alive in exile, Kashmiri Pandits living hundreds and thousands kilometers away from their homeland, have established replicas of their shrines and religious places in different parts of country where they are putting up at present after their mass exodus from Valley in 1989-90.
To remain in touch with their moorings so that they don’t lose contact with their rich and ancient culture and religious traditions, the exiled Pandits have constructed the replicas of their religious places at various places in Jammu, Delhi, Haryana, Bangluru, Mumbai and Pune in Maharashtra. Even ashrams have also been established outside the country by displaced Pandits.
To keep themselves satisfied that they are totally linked to their moorings and culture the Kashmiri Pandits have constructed the replicas of holy shrine of Maya Kheer Bhawani Tulmulla at Janipur by constructing a grand temple and an artificial spring there. Besides they have constructed replica of Mata Sharika of Hari Parbhat, Srinagar at Dhok Paloura, Jammu. Besides replicas of Uma Devi Shrine of Brari Angan Anantnag with an artificial spring has been constructed at Uma Nagri, Muthi Jammu, replica of Sharda temple Bandipora and holy Pukhribal shrine have been constructed at Bantalab Jammu.
Moreover, the replica of Swami Kral Bab Ashram and Swami Krishan Joo Razdan have been constructed at Bantalab. The main replica of Swami Kral Bab Ashram has been established at Ghari Udhampur in Jammu province by disciples of this great saint.
In addition to it, a grand Ashram of Swami Gopinath has been established in Udaywala Bohri by the devotees of the Swami Ji. Swami Ji’ s devotees have established his Ashram in Delhi, Bangaluru, Mumbai and US also.
The replica of Ganesh temple Hanand Chawalgam has been constructed in Ganesh Bihar Muthi where a grand temple and a community Hall has been constructed by the devotees.
The replica of Mata Sharika Chakreshwar has also been constructed at Faridabad, Haryana which has become a religious centre for displaced Pandits.
The replica of Swami Mirzakak’s Shrine has been set up at Nagrota Jammu by devotees while that of Sun temple Martand (Mattan) has been constructed at Paloura, Jammu.
The replicas of Roopbhawani temple have been constructed at Talab Tillo and Sharda Colony Patoli Brahmana.
Moreover there are replicas of Badshah Kalander at Patoli Mangotrian, Swami Lakshman Joo and Swami Govind Koul at Mohinder Nagar, Jammu and Rishi Peer in Jammu.
The replica of Shailputri temple Baramulla has been constructed at Gole Gujral Jammu. Even the replicas of great Shaiviat Swami Vidhiyadhar has also been established at Patoli Mangotruan Jammu.
The only purpose behind construction of the religious shrines according to KPs is to keep their religious traditions and culture alive.
