Sheep Husbandry employees express gratitude for assigning charge of DSHO

Kishtwar, June 2:All Jammu & Kashmir Sheep and Wool Workers Association District Unit Kishtwar expressed his gratitude for assigning the charge of District Sheep Husbandry Officer Kishtwar and also thanks to "Early Times" who highlighted the demand for placing the District Sheep Husbandry Officer Kishtwar besides District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Angraz Singh Rana and Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Director Sheep Husbandry Department Jammu who swiftly made recommendations for placing DSHO Kishtwar which was lying vacant since 1st April 2019 and the salary of whole staff working under DSHO Kishtwar remained with held till date more over number of administrative issues were remained un attended like GPF cases arrears , developmental activities suffered a lot and now after a prolong time the matter reached to the notice of the Principal Secretary which was timely solved through Director SHD Jammu and immediately one part of Particular issue of releasing salary through verbal instructions have partially been solved on the eve of EID-UL-FITER and staff of Kishtwar that gives a breathing space to the employees and their families.
Moreover the Staff extended thanks to Principal Secretary Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon ASH/ Fisheries, Transport/ Horticulture & Agriculture Department for redressing the issue but simultaneously hope that on working day proper and permanent DSHO will be posted so that day to day activities of the Department are carried out smoothly .We expect that in future the issues of this backward District are taken up on priority since the boundries of this remote District where the Sheep Extension Center's are existing at the boundary line of Tiyari near Pangi Himachal, Suncham- Machail, Marwah- Incian via Margan Top 12100 feet and via Chingam Synthan top 12500 feet with Kashmir Valley. Staff of Sheep Husbandry are working in such adverse places under certain threats needs proper appreciation.
They stated that condition of this hilly District is quite different than that of Plains of Jammu or Srinagar it is not to easy to serve comparatively to other areas of J&K it is at par with Kargil Ladakh for which equal compensatory allowance is given to employees.Staff of Sheep Husbandry are extending their thanks to all authorities who have solved the issue and now can enjoy the Eid festival.
