Early Times Report
Jammu, June 2: Appreciating Early Times for highlighting painful cause related to slow death of the iconic 'Ranbir Canal, considered to be the major landmark of Jammu cum life line for farmers' community, due to the apathy of Jammu's so-called political Godfathers, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) founder member S Deep Singh today asked BJP to its seriousness for various projects in Jammu.
According to press release, AAP leader thanked to Munish Gupta the editor-in-chief of 'early Times' for highlighting the painful cause related to slow death of the iconic 'Ranbir Canal, considered to be the major landmark of Jammu cum life line for farmers' community, due to the apathy of Jammu's so-called political Godfathers, corrupt irrigation department and the civil society that never came out of its deep slumber may be because of its thankless character.
"When we talk of some self styled towering media houses of Jammu city, those often seem in appeasing mode towards the ruling chairs and some particular political parties while least caring the public priorities", he alleged.
Similarly, during past, some BJP and congress leaders dubbed themselves as 'Sher-e-Jammu'- Sher-e-Duggar' & Dogra Sadar Sabha for merely political gains and such so-called stalwarts were never questioned by Jammu's so-called civil society for failing on delivery front which is directly responsible for the existing mess, he added.
Long planned Tawi lake project was designed by the technical experts from 'Har-Ki-Poudi near Bagh-e- Bhahu to Sidrah Tawi Bridge with hilly sport on two sides with a beautiful look and causing low temperature for surrounding areas up to five degrees but one congress man from Gujjar community and the irrigation minister of then NC-Congress coalition managed the shifting of site at Bhagwati Nagar bridge for his personal gains as he was having huge chunk of land along with the said site, Deep Singh further alleged.
The then existing MLAs of BJP also preferred to be mum against vested interests, he added. "We all are aware of our so-called healthcare within Jammu where GMC is now being called as a 'Buther-Khana' having no management at all, Deep Singh alleged. ICU unit of GMC lacks needed equipments & hygienic conditions whereas Heart care unit has been developed merely as business center of equipments sellers, he added", he said and added that a poor patient has no option but to face the existing worst but medium or upper medium class has to ultimately rush for Ludhiana, Amritsar or Delhi based private hospitals where they often have to face the unexpected treatment of unmonitored, illegal & unequipped private ambulances with even no facility of oxygen for ailing patients causing death of many on route patients, he alleged.
Recently, such unfortunate happening caused the death of Jyoti Jamwal of Amar Colony, Gole Gujral Road, a serving govt. teacher of 52 yrs. Age due to unavailability of oxygen with the pvt. Ambulance while shifting for Ludhiana from Jammu private hospital Medicity, he added.
