2 killed, 32 injured in seperate accidents in Doda

Doda, June 14: Two separate accident happen in Doda district on Friday.
As per details available with Early Times, A bus bearing registration number JK02AU-2917 was on it's way from Gandoh towards Jammu when reached near curve road in Garsoo area of Doda, bus turn turtle in which 31 passengers were injured, five of them were critical.
Reports said, the bus was scaling the hill when due to brake failure the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to slid down, adding the driver attempted to halt the movement by turning the steering wheel towards left to avoid the river Chenab on right, but in turn caused the vehicle to overturn on the road, official said.
Locals passenger and CRPF troopers rushed to the spot to pull out the survivors from the broken windows and shifted the injured to District Hospital associated GMC Doda for treatment. Some of the critically injured, especially with multiple fractures may be shifted to GMC Jammu for further treatment.
However, several passengers were received in the mangled metal, sustaining critical injuries.
Another car accident happened near Machipal area on Thathri-Gandoh road when Alto-k10 traveling towards Gandoh from Jammu when reached near the Machipal, car fell down into Nallah in which a person died onspot while another died at Hospital Thathri.
Deceased identified as Duni Chand S/o Chuni Lal, Nevi Devi D/o Ramesh Manhas both are the residents of Challar, Chilly Pingal tehsil.
