Durgara Reading Room officially opens at Bishnah

JAMMU, July 26: Durgara Reading Room today officially opened in a ribbon cutting ceremony at Bishnah. The opening ceremony was hosted by Khajuria family. People from across the society, specially retired and youth take part in ceremony.
The ribbon was cut by guests and speakers like Maj Gen G S Jamwal, (Ex-MLC and President of JK EX services League), Advocate Ankur Sharma, Gambir Singh Charak Incharge Youth Wing Dogra Sadar Sabha, SDPO RS Pura Sourabh Prashar, RJ Shwetima Jamwal Radio Mirchi 98.3, BMO Bishnah Sub-District Hospital, Deepak Pathania, SHO Bishnah, Sushil Singh Charak Founder Cum Chairman Nations Development Association NDA
Maj Gen Jamwal congratulated the organizers for this initiative and hope it will help to build a constructive reading culture among youth. He showed concern for local Dogras history and hope it will help to inspire more people. Ankur Sharma said Reading Room is an opportunity for Bishnah youth where they can prepare for their studies and excel in their excel in their respective exams.
He appreciates the initiative and hope in future Bishnah people get more involvement in intellectual process of Govt policy framing. 98.3 Radio Mirchi RJ Shwetima said reading room helps to connect more like minded people. Gambir Singh Charak Incharge Youth Wing Dogra Sadar Sabha said it is a need of hour, at present time we don't have places where youth can sit and study. It helps to learn social value.
"There are two types of reader in Bishnah. First is who are preparing for their exams (competitive) and they daily visit at Jammu city to avail reading room facility. Other reader is students (+2 and above), they don't have a place where they can sit and concentrate in their studies after second half of the day. They usually visit at cyber café for a single print out. In both cases it has been seen that there is wastage of time. But now Durgara reading room helps them to save their time", said Pankaj Khajuria, founder of DRR.
