KPC appeals Home Minister to protect KPs | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 3: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) in a meeting at New Delhi today stated that the panicky situation in Kashmir after advisory to tourists and yatris to leave the valley for their safety and security has created great fear psycho and atmosphere of uncertainty and suspense. According to press release KPC said that there was no clear cut indication, whether it is step towards abrogation of any article, delimitation, heavy crack down on militants or any other development, but under all these circumstances KP,s and their employees working in the valley may be soft target of militants, anti-national and separatist elements. President KPC, Kundan Kashmiri stated that ongoing development in the valley has created great fear and panic among the Kashmiri Pandits living in valley, including PM package KP employees and there is no any word or advisory for them from the state Govt and its administration. He appealed Governor of J&K state and Home Minister of Minister of India to make all necessary security and safety measures for them in valley along with further guidance and advise for taking necessary pre-cautions and other measures. He also appealed his KP community people as well as KP employees working in the valley not to get panic and perturbed by wrong rumors of anti--nationals elements, keep your strong resolve and maintain your personal security and safety with vigilant mind and unity. |
