JAMMU, Aug 3: SIRAS Higher Secondary School Bishnah today organized a programme on drug menace having theme, "Say No To Drugs & Say Yes To Sports" in its auditorium. Sourabh Prasher SDPO RS Pura was the chief guest while Deepak Pathania SHO Bishnah was guest of honour and noted social activist and chairman Kotli Colony Welfare Committee Chandan Datta was special guest . Atul Sudan (Gen Secy), Shammey Khajuria (Jt Secy), Bunny Sadotra (Treasurer) and President GS Sports Club Sushant Gupta welcomed the guests. The motive of the programme was to create awareness among students against drug abuse and to encourage them to stay fit and healthy. Besides, various students of 12th standard who brought laurels to the school in the result of 12th standard were awarded with medals. A presentation on latest trends in drug abuse was given by Vishal Sodhi, school teacher and Sunil Bhatia, President Vikas Manch, who was also present on the occasion. Guest of Honour, Deepak Pathania in his address urged the students, teachers and parents to come forward and help Jammu Police in its war against drug menace. Chief Guest Sourabh Prasher SDPO speaking on the occasion asked the students to be focused and honest about their life and do hard work to achieve their goal.
