Jammu Sanskriti School, Kathua organizes anti-plastic drive | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Aug 3: Students of Jammu Sanskriti School, Kathua marched on their feet as a part of the anti-plastic Drive where each one volunteered and urged the masses to be aware of and get awakened on prohibiting the use of plastic. The amount and magnitude of the threat from plastic usage are all ready to destroy our earth. Students marched on the road holding the banners, placards, posters and voiced slogans to encourage the common man to ban the use of plastic. They communicated to them the hazardous effects of using plastic and asked for their awakened opinions on 3Rs which refers to three terms often used when talking about waste: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Reducing is cutting back on the amount of trash we make, reusing is finding a new way to use trash so that we don't have to throw it out, and recycling is using trash to remake new goods that can be sold again. Students of class 6th and class 8th along with their teachers Shikha (PGT Physics), Raghini (PGT Zoology) and Deepak (IT Expert) created a mass campaign striking awareness amongst people and showing them how plastic is wreaking havoc to our environment. |
