AHD organizes 'Fertility cum Awareness Camp'

Reasi, Sept 3: Animal Husbandry Department Reasi today organized 'Fertility Cum Awareness Camp' at Middle School PAMOTE, Sool-Pamote Panchayat under the aegis of Livestock Development Board, Jammu. Almost 20 infertile; anoestrus Repeat breeder cows were thoroughly examined by Dr Anil VAS Panthal and Dr Rohit Sharma VAS Bhaga and were prescribed specific treatments and also given Dosing tablets and Mineral mixture free of cost. Dr. Arvind Karwani, KAS, Deputy CEO SMVDSB Katra joined the camp as Chief Guest and assured all possible help/ contribution for Middle School (Girls) of Pamote on popular public demand; which was appreciated by one and all. Prominent citizen Lal Singh Choudhary assured to arrange and donate 2 Kanals of land for construction of a Veterinary Hospital in the Sool-Pamote panchayat. Dr. Ramesh Razdan, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Reasi advised the i/c vets. & the Para staff to follow up the cases brought up & examined in the camp, uptill the particular cow is conceived "Calf a Year" is the key to Doubling the Farmers Income by 2022. He offered the farmers present in the Awareness Camp to include whole of the Panchayat in Krishi Kalyan Abhiyan scheme & expected alltime cooperation from them. Dr. Koushal from KVK, Reasi also enlightened the farmers present.
