Seminar on Dogra language organized

Jammu, Oct 31: A national level seminar in Dogri language is organized by the Soch-Sadhna in collaboration with the Akhil Bharti Dogra Sanskriti Manch and Jammu Kashmir Hindi Akademi on the Topic "Dogra Samaj, Sahitya aur Sanskriti" at K. L. Saigal Hall, Jammu in the complex of Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and languages. The function was presided over by the S. Baljeet Singh Raina, eminent established Punjabi and Hindi litterateur, translator and critics, while Dr. Rattan Basotra, eminent Dogri writer, critics and Editor Sheeraza Dogri, JKAACL was the chief guest on the occasion.
Chaman Lal editor in chief of Soch- Sadhna, Kewal Kumar, General Secretary of Jammu Kashmir Hindi Akademi, Roshan Bral Roshan, President Dogri Bhasha Akademi, Rajinder Ranjha, Gen Secretary, Dogri Bhasha Akademy, Yashpaul Nirmal, Gen. Secretary ABDSM and patron of Soch- Sadhna also shared the dice.
Yash Paul Nirmal welcomed the Dignitaries, guests, and audience and research scholars. He said that Soch -Sadhna is providing a platform to the scholars for seminars conferences and publish their research work. This is the first and only Research Magazine in Dogri Language which holds ISSN number.
The scholars those presented their research papers were Ashu Sharma, Ajay Kumar, Rimjhim Gupta, Vijaya Kumari, Pravesh Kumari, Narender Kumar, Skindhya Devi etc. Yashpaul Nirmal also presented the vote of thanks. Kewal Kumar Kewal conducted the programme very ably.
