BJP leaves Jammu in lurch, finds in Kashmir its new beloved
Party to launch ‘Nou Sanz’ program to woo Valley masses, lets Jammuties suffer
2/29/2020 11:41:09 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Feb 29: Leaving the people of Jammu region that accorded 25 seats to it during the last assembly polls, in absolute distress and caring little about the plethora of hardships they face with each passing day, the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has found in Kashmir valley its new beloved.
The party, as per the reports coming to fore, has started “Nou Sanz”—a new beginning to build a close contact with the people to ensure “immediate and early redressal of public grievances.”
Several news reports quoting BJP sources have revealed that the party on the directions of high command in New Delhi will launch Nou Sanz—a new beginning , an initiative to build a gap between party and the people.
Under the new initiative, at least two senior BJP leaders will camp in blocks and listen to the public grievances related to roads, water, electricity etc. The leaders will note down all the demands and apprise the same to party high command. Nou Sanz will be launched on March 12, this year.
Now, when the people in Jammu are in absolute state of shock due to the non availability of internet and bad condition of governance on ground, the BJP lawmakers who were chosen by the people of Jammu against all odds are ironically setting their eyes on Kashmir valley where the party enjoys absolutely no support even in the remotest corner.
Such an action which is being termed as Nou Sanz is likely going to open a can of worms for the party in Jammu as peoples anger is only seething due to witnessing their day to day grievances not being addressed from any quarter and are left virtually at the mercy of an unfavourable situation.
This newspaper has already reported how the people especially the student fraternity is facing immense hardships due to the non availability of internet in Jammu even when the situation in the region remained peaceful since day one. The people are also questioning the stoic silence preferred by the champions of the Jammu cause over such ruthless decision making.
Thousands of aspirants appearing in civil services like IAS or IPS have been saying that the primary source information like current affairs and online journals, come to them via internet only and with the mobile data snapped in entirety, these ill- fated students term the current situation most trying and troublesome, accusing those at the helm of leaving them in a corner where they feel small, solitary and striving everyday.
BJP’s new program which will focus on Kashmir is going to be an interesting watch as how the party that got 25 assembly seats from the region will ignore the very people that empowered it and made it a voice to reckon with in Jammu and Kashmir’s political landscape.
