As per the reports, all the patients hail from South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
The patients were under treatment at JLNM Rainawari hospital.
“A vehicle will arrive from the Shopian all these cured patients will be taken to home,” an official at JLNM hospital said. She added that these 13 patients were discharged after their two repeated samples were tested negative for Covid-19.
“These patients were first tested positive for Covid-19 on 21 April while their repeated tests on 4 and 6 May tested negative.
As we couldn’t communicate with district administration Shopian, due to prevailing situation and suspension of internet and mobile calling facility, we kept these patients in isolation wards and separated them from rest of the positive patients,” she added, adding that all these patients were asymptomatic.
