Jammu, July 18: The Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh today chaired District Development Coordination & Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meeting of district Reasi (J&K) and took review of the progress of the various centrally sponsored schemes through video conferencing.
The important issues discussed in the DISHA meeting of district Reasi were the de-congestion of bus stand Reasi, maintenance of Bhim Garh Fort, issue of toll charges from the inhabitants of district Reasi at Ban Toll Plaza, issue of Baridars to be taken up with the CEO, SMVD Shrine Board, beautification of Katra from Asia Chowk to Old Bazaar, issue of low voltage at Puria, Pouni and allotment of 10 MV transformer, up gradation of PHCs to CHCs in district Reasi, strengthening of lemon grass extraction and marketing with Patanjli on PPP mode, Development of new bus stand Katra, lack of BSNL Services in Arnas and Bhomag areas, scarcity of bank branches in Chassana and Bhomag.
Dr. Jitendra Singh took note of the various concerns of the district and issued on spot directions to the concerned for taking up of appropriate necessary action for the redressal of the issues in a time bound manner.
District Dev. Commissioner, Reasi, Indu Kanwal Chib highlighted the achievements in MGNREGA, PMAY (Gramin and Urban), PMGSY, NHM, National Highway, NFSA, JJM, Kayakalap, Lemon Grass and other centrally sponsored schemes being implemented in the district.
The meeting was also attended by Addl. Deputy Commissioner, Chief Planning Officer and other district officers dealing with the various Centrally Sponsored Schemes besides President Municipal Committee and Chairman Block Dev. Council who also attended the meeting.
