| Bishnah Congress unit condoles demise of local farmer | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 22: Shashi Sharma Secretary Pardesh Congress Committee J&K along with his team visited the house of the deceased Harbans Lal R/O Jindhar panchayat Chak Avatara Bishnah and shared condolence with the family members. Expressing anguish over the mysterious death of Harbans Lal ,the reason was great stress and frustration due to forcible demolition of his house and acquisition of land worth Crores of Rupees just for peanuts owing to the poor land compensation policy of the govt to the farmers due to Jammu Ring Road Project. Earlier his son was died the same way last year. Sharma demanded an independent probe into the circumstances of Harban lal and his son’s death besides adequate compensation to the deceased family and also a govt job to one of the family member of late Harbans Lal. Prominent who accompanied the Congress leader were Subash Chander, Mool Raj Sharma, Anil Kumar, Vijay Kumar and Ashok Kumar. |
