HC Jammu Wing, District Court Complex Janipur closed for two days

JAMMU, Sep 3: In two different orders issued by Chief Justice J&K High Court and Principal Sessions Judge Jammu that High Court Jammu Wing as well as District Court Complex Janipur shall remain closed for two days i.e. 4th of September and 5th of September.
It is worthwhile to mention here that 31 persons including some security officers tested positive in rapid Antigen Tests whereas 2 Judicial Officers among 26 officers/ officials tested positive. According to the order issued by Chief Justice Gita Mittal that As informed by the Registry, some officials in Jammu Wing of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir have tested Covid-19 positive. As per the SOPs issued by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, access to the High Court premises in Jammu Wing of the High Court has to remain closed for two days for sanitization purpose. No person except the sanitation workers will be permitted to enter into the High Court Wing, Jammu on 4th & 5th September, 2020. Urgent cases listed on September 4 in Jammu Wing of the High Court shall be taken up for consideration on September 7. Dates in other matters will be given by the concerned Bench Secretary and the same will be uploaded on the website of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir on September 7. JNF
