SUNDERBANI, Sept 3: Antarrashtriya Hindu Parishad (AHP), J&K unit has committed to provide ration to the people who are facing acute shortage in arranging two-time meals in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic.
In this connection, Sushil Kumar Sudan, AHP General Secretary (Org) of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh unit carried a campaign as a part of nation-wide campaign of ‘Ek Muthi Aanaj’ for common masses so that no one can sleep empty stomach amid Covid-19 scare.
“Workers of AHP, Rashtriya Bajrang Dal, Rashtriya Mahila Parishad and Rashtriya Kisan Parishad have collected ‘Ek Muthi Aanaj’ by going from house to house and the same was distributed among poor and needy families in Beri Patan Tehsil of Rajouri District,” he added.
Sudan urged activists to collect one fistful of grain every month from each house to feed the poor. “There are several poor and helpless people in Jammu and Kashmir who sleep on empty stomachs. Accordingly, AHP has taken this initiative to help such people through the scheme," Sudan said, adding that serving helpless people will be a true service.
