Comdt CRPF flags off Prabhat Kirtan

Katra, Oct 18: On 2nd Navratra, Prabhat Kirtan began & culminated at Bus Stand , Katra after passing through Shiv Mandir Ban Ganga Road, Shalimar Garden, Chintamani & main bazaar Katra. Enroute large number of Vaishno Maa devotees, association members and locals chanted mantras & sang bhajans of Goddess Maa Brahamcharni.
J&K Association of Prabhat Feri today took out 1st Prabhat Kirtan on 2nd Navratra which is organized in association with public Katra. The Prabhat Kirtan was flagged off by Jitender Gupta Commandant CRPF 6th battalion in presence of Shiv Kumar Sharma former Joint Secretary J&K State Sport Council.
Prabhat Kirtan started from Bus stand Katra passing through Ban Ganga Road reached at Darshani Deodi and then came back via main bazaar to Bus Stand Katra where it got culminated.
The procession was comprised of, Senior citizens, local people and a large numbers of Maa Vaishno Devi devotees.
The holy town got reverberated with the bhajans of Kirtan Mandali .Enroute at Darshani Deodi the procession was welcomed by C.R.P.F. personnel with morning refreshment.
Raj Kumar Padha Chairman of J&K Association of Prabhat Feri thanked all the people who participated in the Prabhat Kirtan especially CRPF personnel for their gesture and appealed all the sections of society to join in Prabhat Kirtan to get the blessing of Maa Vaishno Devi.
