Those opposing land laws enemies of youth, development: Suri
11/3/2020 12:07:05 AM

EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Nov 2: "Political parties like Congress, NC, PDP and Panthers Party (PP) which are opposing new land laws doublespeak, are enemies of youth, factually incorrect and are actually averse to development in Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir. These parties in fact don't want to see J&K progressing at par with any other state in the country".
This was stated by BJP J&K Executive Member Raman Suri, who added that these political parties had blocked every aspect of development in Jammu and Kashmir and for its youth by favouring draconian and arbitrary laws including temporary provision of Article 370. Now that every law that blocked employment opportunities, development and ascend of multi-national as well as national business houses in J&K stands demolished, J&K is going to witness a new era of prosperity which is not being digested by these parties. Raman Suri reminded that these political outfits especially NC had even created a Jammu and Kashmir State Overseas Employment Corporation Ltd with former CM Omar Abdullah as its Chairman to push young educated youth out of state. All they wanted was to push young human resource out of state and make remaining as labourers so that they continue to rule without anyone questioning them or threatening their existence in the political arena of erstwhile state. Raman Suri said that unless industrialists, software companies, healthcare experts, educationists, hoteliers, traders, manufacturers and other business houses are not provided land and infrastructure here in J&K, every talk of creating employment or development is nothing but a lie.
He said if youth of J&K can work in other states of country, why would they not love to get jobs in same companies in their own Union Territory.
