| Institute of Management Sciences organises two day induction programme | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 23: Aarambh 20 - a two day online induction programme for new BBA & BCA batches was organized by Institute of Management Sciences, Jammu on 20th & 21st November, 2020. The Induction programme consisted of four corporate expert sessions intermingled with fun activities and familiarizing the students with academic and non- academic programmes of the college.
The Inaugural session started with welcome addresses by the Management of institution - Chairman JGEI - Er. Vidhi S. Jamwal, Managing Director - Er. Renu Bangroo and Director IMS - Prof J R Dhotra, where they welcome the students and their parents to the institute. The management urged the students to make full use of College facilities and environment to broaden their horizons and wished them well for their future. This was followed by College Presentation by Asst. Prof. Dr. Meenakshi Sharma who showcased the facilities, achievements and activities undertaken by college in the last year. The first Corporate Guest Lecture was taken by Kavita Mangotra - GM Quality, Eriksson Noida who discussed the various skills which the new students must acquire and hone to succeed in their careers. The morning session ended with a short introduction to the Student Council. The afternoon session included another guest lecture by. Adarsh Gupta - an entrepreneur from Jammu who shared his journey from corporate to entrepreneurship and encouraged the students to follow their dream. |
