| 2 arrested for hiding tenant details | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 7: Jammu Police today arrested two persons for hiding tenant details in two different cases.
A police team from Bahu Fort Police Station led by SHO, Inspr. Deepak Pathania assisted by incharge Police Post Bathindi Inspector Kamalpreet Singh conducted verification of a tenant namely Hadayatullah Malik son of Abdul Hamid Malik resident of Haradpura Shopian who was involved in case FIR No. 16/21 U/S 18/20 U L Act and Nazir Ahmed son of Mohd Ramzan resident of Shopian who were staying in houses of Nazir Ahmed son of Lassa Bhat resident of Sanjwan and Farooq Ahmed son of Saraj Din resident of Momin Abad Sanjwan respectively.
Both the owners have neither informed Police nor conducted any verification in the Police Station. Thus, owners have violated the notification No.DMJ/LO 2019-20/1574-85 Dated 24-09-19 of District Magistrate Jammu in which it was mandatory to inform concerned Police Station about the tenant. On this information, two cases FIR No. 41/21 U/S 188 IPC and FIR No 43/21 U/S 188 IPC got registered at Police Station Bahu Fort. The accused namely Nazir Ahmed son of Lassa Bhat resident Sanjwan, Jammu and Farooq Ahmed son of Saraj Din resident of Momin Abad Sanjwan were arrested in the above cases respectively. Further investigation of the cases is going on. |
