Jammu, Feb 7: All J&K Plus Two Lecturers' Forum held a meeting today under the chairmanship of its president Deepak Sharma to discuss the burning issues.
Deepak Sharma said that Government has reopened the schools but is least bothered to provide the necessary human resource thereby affecting smooth functioning of School Education Department as about 300 Higher secondary schools and large number of High schools and Education Zones are lying headless throughout J&K resulting into overburdening of Head of institutions with additional DDO powers leading to exploitation and hampering efficiency and teaching learning process.
Forum demanded immediate release of promotion list of Principals and filling up of all the vacant posts of +2 Principals strictly according to the UT level seniority of Senior Lecturers even on look-after basis along with DDO powers as per the seniority list available vide Govt Order No 1074 of Education 2013 Dated 30-12-2013 and updated vide Govt OrderNo 126 Edu of 2020 Dated 26-5-2020.
Forum also demanded regularisation of all incharge incumbents and retirees especially incharge principals pending since Dec 2007 thereby facilitating promotion list of CEOs and equivalents as not even a single confirmed principal is available for the same and release of placement list of Senior Lecturers upto optimum number pending since Dec 2013 as per SRO 481 and filling up of all vacant posts of Lecturers on fast track basis and Regularisation of all left out case of Joint Directors, CEOs and Lecturers for effective functioning of School Education Department.
