DPS Udhampur holds virtual investiture ceremony

UDHAMPUR, Sept 28: The virtual investiture ceremony of Delhi Public School (DPS) Udhampur for the academic session 2021-2022 was held.
It was conducted with the high degree of earnestness and passion.
The Investiture ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly invested office bearers. Donning the mantle of accountability, they also pledge to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities. We believe that the child centric approach will frame a responsible citizen.
Chief Guest for the day was M Suleman Chowdhary, DIG Udhampur Reasi Range. He explained the qualities of a good leader in great length and laid emphasis on traits like com skills, team work and politeness. The students' council took the pledge to hold the school motto "Service before self "in high esteem.
The Pro-Vice Chairman of the school, Dr JC Gupta congratulated the batch bearers and admonished them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties. The Managing Director, Vivek Gupta and Academics Director Sucheta Gupta congratulated the newly elected council members.
The Principal Dr Kunal Anand also appreciated and congratulated them. The Council heads of the school Rakesh Sharma and Humera Hussein talked about the election process and Ingredients to be a good leader and the expectations from the elected council.
The declaration of the result was done by Rakhee Gupta for senior school for junior School result was declared by Siloni Thakur. Vote of thanks was given by Headmistress Senior School Bhanvi Sharma, followed by closing comments by Headmistress Junior School Shivane Koul. The event was well coordinated under the guidance of the Chief Coordinators Sangeeta Nargotra, Lakhvinder Kaur and Rakhee Gupta.
