Govt to conduct assessment camps for PWDs: Muskan Foundation

VIJAYPUR, Nov 7: The government is going to conduct assessment camp for divyangas (PWDs) for free distribution of aid and appliances to all categories of disabled persons under ADIP scheme while will also provide physical aids and assisted living devices to senior citizens under RVY scheme of GOI by 'ALIMCO' company who will distribute all the aids including artificial limbs to all the disabled, informed Parveen Sangral, President Muskan Foundation, Vijaypur.
Addressing a press conference here today, Sangral said that for registration all the eligible candidates can register themselves in these camps tomorrow at Community Hall Ramgarh, 9th Nov 2021 at Community Hall Vijaypur, 11th Nov 2021 at GHSS Rajpura, 12th Nov 2021 at BDO Purmandal, 13th Nov, 2021 at Dharamsala Nud, 15th Nov 2021 at GGHS Ghagwal, 16th Nov. 2021 at GHSS Shumb, 17th Nov. 2021 at Panchyat Ghar Kartholi (Upper) Bari Brahmana and 18th Nov 2021 at Kangwala Ground Samba.
She further said that the Foundation is trying its best to provide specially made smart phones for blind persons.
She urged everyone to spread the message to every disabled person around them to register themselves. The documents required are two passport size photographs, Aadhar Card, Ration Card and disability certificate. She further said that disability certificate is not mandatory for senior citizens above 60 years. She requested everyone to help the disabled persons and inform them to come and register themselves so that Foundation could help them in every possible way.
Muskan Foundation thanked the Social Welfare Deptt and Govt of India for taking crucial steps for disabled persons.
