JKTA holds executive meeting, demands restoration of previous pension scheme | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Nov 7: Jammu & Kashmir Teachers' Association (JKTA) held a meeting of zonal presidents and executive members of this district under the leadership of UT President Bhupinder Singh and District President Sudesh Kumar. Bhupinder thanked the administrative secretary School Education B K Singh for release of pending salary of NPS teachers for the months of September and October. Bhupinder urged the LG Manoj Sinha to restore old pension scheme in favour of teachers/employees who are appointed after 1-1-2010 and implementation of pay grade in favour of teachers fraternity of J&K at par with other UTs. He also appealed the administrative secretary School Education to resolve long pending genuine issues of teachers fraternity including transfer policy in favour of teachers appointed under RET Scheme who have been working in the same schools for last more than 20 years, inclusion of five years ReT period for seniority benefits, DPC of teachers as same has not been done since 2014, issuance of diploma/marks sheets to teachers who passed D Ed through (NIOS) online mode with less than 50 percent marks as the teachers with offline mode have received the same even having less than 50 percent marks and issuance of post facto/pre-facto permission to teachers who have applied before 1-1-2021. District President Udhampur Sudesh Kumar also spoke on the occasion and appealed DSEJ to regularize the left out ReTs and also convert the left out RRETs to Teachers Grade II/III. |
