Jammu, Nov 16: University of Jammu on Monday appointed Vinay Thusoo as new Vigilance Officer of the institution.
As per official communique, Dr Vinay Thusoo took over as the new Departmental Vigilance Officer, University of Jammu.
The Departmental Vigilance Officer, JU shall function under the University of Jammu administration under the aegis of the Anti Corruption Bureau, Jammu and Kashmir, Government.
He succeeds outgoing Departmental Vigilance Officer Dr Imran Farooq who after a successful tenure of four years has been relieved of this charge.
Dr Vinay Thusoo is a PhD from Jammu University and is in charge of Media and Official Spokesperson of the University of Jammu.
He has twenty years of experience in the area of media and public relations.
He was nominated as Social Media Champion, University of Jammu by Ministry of Education, Govt of India and is also Nodal Officer, Jammu University for Prime Minister’s Swacch Bharat Internship Programme, Government of India.
Dr Vinay Thusoo in his capacity as Media Head and Spokesperson, University of Jammu was instrumental in the formulation of the new Media Policy for the premier institution. |
