| Symposium in memory of Padma Shri Padma Sachdeva organised | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 15: A one day symposium was organised in GDC Bishnah in the memory of Padma Shri Padma Sachdeva by the Society of Language Promotion Club in collaboration with the Department of Dogri, under the aegis of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”
The programme started with a paper presentation on the brief life history of Shri Padma Sachdeva by Dr. Sushma Kumari of Dept. of Dogri. Various students participated in the programme that consisted of recitation of Dogri songs and poems. Prof. Shivani Raina of Dept. of Music also sang a Dogri song. Afterwards, Dr. Anuradha Pandoh, the principal of the college also deliberated on the importance of organisation of such programmes in Dogri language. |
