| Major fire tragedy averted at Warwan-Kishtwar | | | Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, Nov 15: A major fire tragedy was averted late last night in Mulwarwan of Warwan tehsil after a fire broke out in grass shed.
As per the details available with Early Times on November 14 in the evening, a fire broke out in two grass kothas of Mohammad Sultan and Ghulam Hussainand the same threatened to engulf the whole village in absence of fire fighting equipments as well as existence of houses in chain structure.
As soon as the villagers noticed the fire they raised an alarm and immediately the people from nearby villages as well as the police rush to the spot and started rescue operation which lasted for several hours. The fire was brought under control with damages to both grass sheds. Naib Tehsildar Inshan also rushed to the spot to take the stock of situation. SSP Kishtwar and DC Kishtwar monitored the rescue operation personally till the fire was fully brought under control.
