DDC member holds review meeting at Block Chowki Choura

AKHNOOR, Nov 17: Pt Suresh Sharma, member District Development Council (DDC), held a review meeting with all the Sarpanchs and officials of the Rural Development Department at Block Head Quarter Chowki Choura. In order to increase the pace of development works, Suresh Sharma inquired from the officials of the department about the development works to be done in MNREGA, 14 FC, PRI Capex Budget, Back to Village. Department officials told DDC Suresh Sharma this year Rs 2 crore 57 lakh in MGNREGA, Rs 2 crore 33 lakh in PRI capex budget, Rs 25 lakh of BDC capex, Rs 1 crore in Back to Village and Rs 17 lakh 29 thousand in CD Panchayat Fund will be spent on development works.
Sharma, while discussing with all the Sarpanchs and Panchs, came to know about the ongoing development works in their panchayats. Suresh Sharma while addressing said that it is the duty of all of them to make every panchayat a developed panchayat.
Apart from this, the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme was also discussed. Giving directions to the officers of the department, Suresh Sharma said that the tender process should be expedited so that all the works are completed within the stipulated time and people get convenience through e-tendering.
On this occasion, BDC Chowki Choura Rahul Dev Sharma, all Sarpanchs and Panchs, BDO Rashu Sharma, AEE Mona Butt, Engineer of Rural Development Department, all Gram Sevaks and other officials were present.
