Industrial, residential areas in Jammu won’t get power for 9-hours today, tomorrow: JPDCL

Jammu, Apr 26: Not a single day is passing without Jammu Power Development Corporation Limited (JPDCL) announcing a shutdown in different areas. The Corporation has failed miserably to fill in the gap between demand and supply. To overcome the shortage it’s restoring to load shedding and despite installing Smart Meters power scenario has not changed people are suffering.
On Tuesday Chief Engineer (Distribution) JPDCL, Jammu informed that the power supply to Industrial Area of District Jammu, Samba, Kathua and Udhampur shall remain affected on April 28 from 9 pm to April 29, 6 am.
Similarly, the power supply to Patoli Brahmana, Domana, Barnai, Purkhoo, Mishriwala, Baba Talab, ShamachakGurhaSinghu, Batera, Dabbin, Chorpur, Manyal, Dhramkhu, TirthTalab, GREF, Gumpul, Sua No.1, Garkhal, Khour, Pahariwala, Jogwan and adjoining areas shall remain affected on April 27 from 8 am to 12 noon.
Likewise, the power supply to Ransoo, Shivkhori and Sangar shall remain affected on April 27 from 9 am to 2 pm.
Similarly, the power supply to Raghunath Bazar, Residency Road, Wazarat Road, Kanak Mandi, Rajinder Bazar and adjoining areas shall remain affected on April 27 from 7 am to 10 am.
Likewise, the power supply to Nagrota, Katal, Batal, Saonik School, Pangrain, DhokWasiran, Narian, IIT, Migrant Campus Nagrota, Jagti, Nagrota, PHE, Katal, Batal, Sainik School, Migrant Colony, Bamyal Jagti, Salehar, Rathana, Makhanpur, Biaspur, Nandpur and its adjoining areas shall remain affected on April 27 from 7 am to 11 am.
Similarly, the power supply to Pargwal, Channi Tanna, Rajpura, Bhalwal Bharat, DhalwalMiuluHamipurkona, BSF, Batera, Dabbin, Chorpur, Manyal, Dharmkhu, TirthTalab, GREF, Gumpul, Sua No. 1, Garkhal, Dumi, Sobka and adjoining areas shall remain affected on April 27 from 8 am to 12 noon.
Meanwhile, Superintending Engineer O&M Circle Jammu, JPDCL has informed that the power supply to New Subash Nagar, Subash Nagar and its adjoining areas shall remain affected on April 27 from 6.30 am to 8 am.
