Shiv Sena demands roll back of 5% GST decision
7/17/2022 10:52:15 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, July 17: “By making hoax promise of ‘Achhe Din’ the Bharatiya Janata Party grabbed power and after coming into power it dashed the common people’s dreams by taking only and only anti-people decisions thus pushing the common man into innumerable miseries. As if all this was not enough that now it has fixed the last nail in the coffin by imposing 5% GST on essential commodities of daily use by every person.” This was stated by Shiv Sena Jammu and Kashmir unit head Manish Sahni here today.
Addressing media persons at the party’s State office, the Shiv Sena Chief lamented that BJP has once again disappointed the people at this critical juncture when they are already struggling to make their both ends meet amidst unprecedented inflation and sky rocketing prices of essential commodities. In such a situation the Govt has slapped the common man with 5% GST on items of daily use leaving no scope for their survival.
He said in vernacular language “Yeh 5% GST Aam Aadmi Ko Gabbar Singh Tax Ka Hunter Mara Hai Sarkar Ne.” Sahni said that in this era of recession, general public, businessmen and industrialists are waiting for relief and cash assistance from the government while the small traders are trying to emerge from the recession during the GV GBCorona pandemic period, it is a tale of travesty that the government is least bothered about the difficulties faces by the common man.
On this occasion President Kamghar Wing Raj Singh, Shashipal, Naresh Kumar, Meenakshi Kotwal, Mangu Ram, Pawan Kumar were present.
