Assembly Elections Early Times Report Srinagar, Nov 23: As the poll campaigning for the first phase of elections, slated to be held on November 25, ended today, the Bharatiya Janta Party, which had created hype about it emerging as the number one party in the state is grappling with problems. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing a rally at Kishtwar in Jammu region on Saturday exposed the state BJP leadership to the hilt. Sources told Early Times the BJP top brass has taken a serious note about how the rally was managed. "The Prime Minister's Office had informed BJP's state unit one week before about PM arriving in the hilly town to address the rally. Despite having ample time BJP leaders failed to manage the show," sources said. They said that people who had come from far-flung areas to attend PM's rally were left to fend for themselves as security personnel didn't allow them to carry either water or any other eatables with them. Organizers despite knowing the security constraints failed to make any arrangement for the participants and they left the venue fuming....
