Bhaderwah/Jammu, June 26: Three terrorists, suspected to be affiliated with the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) outfit, were killed in a gunfight that lasted for more than six hours in a forest area in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district on Wednesday, police officials said.
A policeman was also injured in the gunfight that broke out in Bajaad village in the Gandoh area around 9:50 am amid an intensified cordon-and-search operation launched by the police, Army and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), following twin terrorist attacks in the hill district on June 11 and 12, the officials added.

CHANDIGARH, June 26: Security forces were put on high alert after a villager claimed to have spotted two suspicious armed men in Punjab’s Pathankot, officials said on Wednesday.
The Punjab Police, along with the Army and the Border Security Force (BSF), launched a massive search operation in Pathankot, a senior Punjab Police officer said.
The search operation was being carried out in the Bamial area, the officer said.
“We are on alert,” Deputy Inspector General (Border Range, Amritsar), Rakesh Kaushal, said.

JAMMU, June 26: A search operation is underway in a forest area in Reasi district following suspicious movement of armed persons, officials said on Wednesday.
The search operation was conducted in Kanda-Poni area where terrorists opened fire on a 53-seater bus carrying pilgrims when it was en route to the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in Katra from the Shiv Khori temple on June 9.
