Baramulla, July 13: In a historic step to deliver Justice to the Terror Victim Families, the Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha today handed over the appointment letters to Next of Kins (NoKs) of terror victims, at Baramulla.
The Lieutenant Governor had met terror victim families in Anantnag on 29th June 2025 and they were assured that eligible NoKs will receive the jobs within just 30 days. The Lieutenant Governor has fulfilled his promise within 15 days and today handed-over appointment letters to the members of the 40 terror victim families. The process will continue till every terror victim family is rehabilitated.

SRINAGAR, July 13: Three buses part of the Amarnath Yatra convoy collided on Sunday on their way back to a base camp in Kulgam district in Jammu and Kashmir, injuring at least 10 pilgrims, officials said.
The injured pilgrims were taken to a hospital for treatment, they said.
The convoy was returning after pilgrims had their darshan at the cave shrine.
Officials said the condition of all injured was stated to be stable.
Three buses were damaged in the road accident.

Srinagar, July 13: A 13-year-old boy drowned while two others are feared dead after they slipped into a canal in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday, officials said.
The incident occurred in the Gantmulla area when four members of a family -- two adults and two teenagers -- started drowning after one of them accidentally slipped into the canal of the Lower Jhelum Hydroelectric Project, they said.
The remaining three jumped in to save the person but were also swept away by the fast-moving water.
