JAMMU, Sept 14: Stunned over yesterday's ET report which carried vital details of Javed's arrest, the SSP Kishtwar BS Tutti today scrutinized Early times reporter's phone calls.
Later, he summoned all the officials who had talked to the reporter and enquired about the details shared by them with the reporter. Reliable sources said that he warned the officials of furnishing details of Javed's interrogation with the reporter. .

JAMMU, Sept 14: In a late night action intended to defuse tension that erupted between traffic police and the transport operators during the day, DIG Traffic, Shakeel Beigh attached traffic inspector Zamroodh Singh. Following this swift action, the strike call given by the transporters for tomorrow was immediately called off. The decision to this effect was taken by drivers union after a detailed meeting with DIG. President of all Routes/Union participated in the meeting and called off -strike after getting assurance from concerned authorities that action would be taken against the erring cops.

JAMMU, Sept 14: Eventhough recently installed traffic lights have helped in the regulation of messy city traffic to an extent, yet at several crossings of the city, poor road engineering and incapability of the traffic police have made these lights ineffective.
