Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 29: As the high-voltage campaign for the third and the last phase of the Assembly elections concluded on Sunday, the stage was set for polling in 40 constituencies in seven districts of Jammu and Kashmir. More than 39.18 lakh voters are eligible to exercise their electoral franchise during the third and last phase of Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. Although all political parties utilized all their resources to mobilize support, the stakes of the BJP are very high for the third and final phase of elections on all the 24 Assembly seats of Jammu province. Out of these 24 assembly segments, BJP in the 2014 assembly elections, BJP had won 21. Two seats namely Nagrota and Bishnah were won by the National Conference and Udhampur by Pawan Gupta as Independent. Devender Singh Rana, who won Nagrota as an NC candidate in 2014, is now a BJP candidate in the same seat, Dr Kamal Arora, who won the Bishnah seat has become inactive as the seat has been reserved for the Scheduled Caste.
