Jammu, Sept 4: Nearly four months after India destroyed terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK), the Indian Army on Wednesday released a video of Operation Sindoor, conducted on the nights of May 6 and 7. The Army also unveiled visuals of Operation Mahadev, in which three Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists — Suleman, Afghan, and Jibran — directly involved in the gruesome killing of tourists in Pahalgam’s Baisaran Valley on April 22 were neutralized. Jammu, Sept 4: Following a brief respite from heavy rainfall over the past 24 hours, reports have emerged of sinking land and hills in several hilly areas of Jammu province.
Authorities and local residents have raised concerns as the phenomenon poses a risk to life and property in vulnerable regions.
According to reports, multiple areas in the Jammu region have been witnessing ground subsidence since the downpours stopped. In particular, higher reaches of the Akhnoor subdivision have reported signs of sinking land, with visible cracks and slippage in slopes.

Jammu, Sept 4: The administration has intensified restoration work and debris clearance in low-lying areas of Jammu city following flooding in the Tawi river, and has considerably restored water and power supply in the affected areas.
Officials said that they have restored 70 per cent of water supply and 80 per cent of the power supply.
