Youth stand firmly with ‘Nation First’ ideology: Amit Shah
Early Times Report
New Delhi, Sept 19: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday hailed the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad’s (ABVP) victory in the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) elections, describing the outcome as a reflection of the sentiments of young people across the country.
In a post on X, Shah said Delhi University was not merely an educational institution as students from every corner of the country come there to pursue their studies. He said the university’s mandate therefore reflects the aspirations and thinking of the youth across India.
“Today’s resounding victory of ABVP is a clear message to anti-national forces that seek to turn the youth into a laboratory for anti-national agendas,” Shah said.
He further asserted that the country’s youth were standing firmly with the ideology of “nation first”, describing it as the biggest message emerging from the DUSU election verdict.
The Home Minister’s remarks came after ABVP registered a significant performance in the DUSU elections.
