Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Oct 1: Twelve fresh guests from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) arrived here this afternoon, while only two Kashmiris crossed over to the other side of the Line of Control (LoC) to meet their relatives separated in 1947. Official sources said 31 POK and Kashmiri returnees also crossed sides at Kaman post, the last Indian military post, in Uri sector. Sources said 12 PoK residents arrived at Kaman post after crossing the Aman Setu, peace bridge on foot this afternoon. Nine Kashmiris, including three women and two children, who had gone to PoK, also returned here after completing stay across the LoC. However, only two Kashmiris crossed over to other side of the border to meet their relatives, they said adding 22 PoK, including six women and two children, returned to their homes after completing stay in Kashmir. |
