| Cong demands induction of Chenab Valley party MLAs into cabinet | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT BHADERWAH, Jan 11: Demanding induction of party MLAs from Chenab Valley into State Cabinet, the District Doda Mahila Congress Committee said that people of the erstwhile Doda district are on the mercy of God as problems of the common people has increased a lot for the last three years as no elected representative of Congress from the area is in the Council of Ministers. Addressing a meeting of Mahila Congress workers here today in village Sartingal, Vice President Shamala Begum Mir demanded from the Congress high command to immediately put pressure on the CM to extend his cabinet and induct at least three MLAs of the Chenab valley in the cabinet adding that if not then withdraw its support as in the coalition government Chenab valley MLAs are playing a key role. She also demanded that MLA Bhaderwah Mohd Sharief Naiz should also be inducted in cabinet as he had joined Congress at that time in Chenab valley when no one was willing to join the party and Niaz at that time resign from the government job and become primary member of Congress. She further said if today coalition government is working it is only due to the support of Chenab Valley Congress workers and warned that if cabinet expansion was not held and party MLAs of the area are not inducted into Ministry, the Mahila Congress Committee Doda district will come on roads and hold protest demonstration. |
