| Drug peddler held, 1000 intoxicant capsules recovered | | | JAMMU, Jan 11 : Akhnoor police today arrested a drug peddler and recovered about 1000 intoxicant capsules.
According to police sources, the recovery of capsules was made by a police party led by SHO Akhnoor Mahesh Sharma, who on specific information laid a naka in the area.
The arrested person from whom the intoxicants were seized has been identified as Jasbeer Singh alias Badshah son of Balwant Singh of village Dhanpur, Khour.
A senior police officer confirmed the reports and said that the accused used to supply the intoxicants to the youth in the area after procuring the same from the neighboring state of Punjab.
A case under section 21/22 NDPS Act has been registered against the arrested drug peddler. |
