| Sakina assures House to release pending honorarium to AWWs, AWHs Tarigami raises issue | | ASSEMBLY-2013 | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 23 : Minister for Social Welfare Ms Sakina Itoo said that Government is trying to ensure timely release of Honorarium to Anganwari Workers (AWWs) and Anganwari Helpers (AWs). She said that the State Government has always pursued the matter with the Centre to get the funds released well in time.
The Minister was responding to the point raised by the MLA Mr. M. Y. Tarigami in Legislative Assembly today.
Ms. Itoo said Rs.142 crore is pending with the Government of India and efforts are afoot to get the same released. She assured the House that the pending honorarium would be given to the Anganwari Workers and Anganwari Helpers well in time. |
