| DDC Poonch reviews physical financial achievements | | | POONCH: District Development Commissioner, Poonch, Sajjad Ahmed Khan took a threadbare review of the various developmental activities in the district at a meeting held here today.
The DDC also took a detailed review of the physical and financial achievements of the various departments and was informed that an expenditure of Rs.90.93 crores had been incurred on execution of various developmental activities out of released funds of Rs 90.93 crores, thus registering a target achievement of 100%.
He was further informed that about 21.92 km roads were black topped, 21.37 km mettled , 13.25 km fair weather roads and 717 Mtr RFT Protection walls were constructed to provide road connectivity under NABARD and District plan, during last fiscal.
Mr Khan directed the concerned departments to take up various important projects immediately which mainly include construction of infrastructure for Blood Bank and CT scan machine in district Hospital Poonch. DDC directed Medical Supdt. to reflect both issues in BRGF schemes along with Detailed Project Report( DPR) for their projection to the concerned authorities. All issues relating to land disputes, scarcity/ alternation of land to construct infrastructure for educational institutions, both CEO & Ex. Engineer PWD were directed to work in coordination for their early redressal
DDC impressed upon officers to work with co-ordination and in concerted manner for optimal utilisation of resources and achieving the set targets in time . Among others ADDC Syed Anwar Hussain Shah, ADC S.Jatinder Singh , Medical Supdt .Distt. Hospital, CEO and all other sectoral officers attended the meeting. |
