SRINAGAR, May 9 : Prof. Talat Ahmad, Vice Chancellor, Kashmir University, called on Mr. N. N. Vohra, Governor, at Raj Bhavan, here today.
Prof. Talat Ahmad briefed the Governor, who is Chancellor of the Kashmir University, about the successful completion of the admissions to the various courses and about the commencement of the teaching schedules.
The Governor also discussed with Prof. Talat Ahmad the functioning of the main Campus and off-site Campuses of the University.
The Vice Chancellor also briefed the Governor about the to-date status of various ongoing research projects undertaken by the University and those in the pipeline. He informed the Governor about the eminent persons, nearly two dozen, who shall be visiting the University in the coming weeks for professional consultations and, besides, to address the students on important themes. |
