UDHAMPUR, May 18 : To celebrate 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, Swami Vivekananda Sardh Shati Organization in collaboration with State Bank of India, Branch Ramnagar today organized a debate on the topic “Jeevani of Swami Vivekanand Ji” at Government Girls High School, Ramnagar.
Tehsildar Ramnagar, Mr. Sushil Kesar was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
Miss Reva Rani stood first while Anchal Bhardwaj and Anjali Thakur clinched second and third position respectively. The Consolation prizes were also distributed among the participants.
While speaking on the occasion, the chief guest appreciated the efforts of the organization for holding a debate on the topic which would help the students to know about life and teaching of Swami Vivekananda. He further said that we must follow the teachings of Swami ji for the development of a better society.
Among other, Neib Tehsildar, ZEPO, Manager SBI, Ramnagar, President of the Swami Vivekananda Sardh Shati organization, staff and students were present on the occasion. |
